Quick Creations Holiday Hop

Hello!! I hope you’re enjoying this hop so far which is featuring The Greeting Farm. I love their stamps so much and they’re my favorite to color.

I won’t keep you long because when we do hops, we want to get through them fast and really just look at the wonderful creations.

So, for my creation, I could not make up my mind about what I wanted to add to my planner. Therefore, my images are not glued down. I used the Special Autumn Rubber Stamp by The Greeting Farm and I colored my images twice.

These images are just too cute!!! As you can see I altered her hair and made it extra curly.

For these images, I made his hair curly and made her hair into a new hairstyle.

This combination stole my heart for my planner page. I just love curly hair!

I hope you love what I have done with this set and you can always purchase it here.

TGF Anya Shops

My love for The Greeting Farm stamps runs deep and this is a stamp I was very happy about coloring. Sticking to my theme, I used everything for this card from my stash.

Paper Used – Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories

I colored her skin with Copics. I used E21,11, and 13. Her hair I used W5, 7 and 9. I know it winter but this going to be a birthday card for my friend’s daughter and she loves the color pink! Pink dress it is!

Finally I simply tied a ribbon into a cute knot to finish off. I keep my ribbon scraps in a container and I was lucky to have just enough to accentuate the card.

I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you like my creation for Quick Creations! If you’re in the mood to color any other Greeting Farm image, please check out Quick Creations, she has some of the best prices on the market.

Love & Light,

Planner Bookmark

If you haven’t heard, pretty planning is all the rave right now. I decided I did not want to create another card this week for my Quick Creations guest designer post. I wanted something that I know I will use. So, a planner bookmark was born for my Happy Planner by Mambi.

Pictured above is the planner bookmark tag I created. I used the Simple Stories Carpe Diem 6×6 paper to cover a tag.

The stamped image is Abbey of The Greeting Farm.

I also fussy cut one of the papers to create embellishments for the tag.

I love how it came out and it is totally ready for my planner. Check out the additional pictures below.

Hope you enjoyed this project and go make your own!

Quick Creations Anything Goes – Mermaid Anya

Hello there!! I hope all is well with you on this Labor Day! I have had a busy weekend and today I can finally sit back and relax, just a little! I am a Guest Designer for Quick Creations right now and I wanted to share with you this cute card for the Anything Goes theme!

For this project, I used Mermaid Anya. She was super fun to color!

Paper: Kaiser Craft Mermaid Collection

Since this paper has many shades of purple, I decided to color Mermaid Anya in purple.

Card: Easel Card

Instead of coloring hair the suggested way, I opted out to give her a curly hairstyle. Besides she is adorable! I tried to draw some scales and that was an epic fail. I used clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to her fin.

Here are a few shots of the card.

I used pop dots to add dimension to her.

I may have went overboard on the dimensions. Hehehe

I used the strip of Glue Dots for my wooden veneers. Forget glue! Give me something I can peel and stick and it stays on! For this word, I used two strips.

Finally, I decided I wanted my word to look very vintage. It goes well with the theme.

Once again, I followed my theme and Create More and Spend Less.

Following colors used with Copics. Light to dark.

Planner Stickers and Cards?

Yes, you read that right. Who would think that planner stickers and cards could go together, but they can. At Pink Bow Ties, the dolls are super cute and can be used for card creations.

I was recently contacted by Brandelyn of LoveByBee for a contribution to her card-making event. I was ecstatic! So, instead of sending just one sticker, I decided to make them a card-making kit and send a sample over!

I selected the doll Eartha from my store. You can find Eartha here. Once again, I did the same concept, I used what I had in my stash.

I love kraft card bases! I picked these up from Michael’s during a great sale!

The sentiment was created in Silhouette and is a sticker also!

Close up of this beautiful 50s pin girl inspired image! Yes that is a sticker!!

I added felt gold went very well with this image. I think black would have worked also.

The gold doilies and kraft card bases are from Michael’s. I purchased these awhile back but I do remember they were on sale. The sequins I remember buying from Hobby Lobby in the Clearance Section. I paid less than $1.50 for them and I have many of them.

So, if you’re not into coloring just yet or you feel your coloring is not cute, skip the digital image and buy the sticker and create a quick, but cute card for someone special!

Birthday Card

Hello! How are you today? I’m very happy you stopped by my blog to see what I have been up to. I’m going to treat this blog as if I was talking to my girlfriend or as if I’m talking to my audience during my Tea with Lameka videos. So, basically I have to be myself! My true authentic self is what attracts people.

So, while in a group someone saw a card I created and she requested a card for her grandmother. She wanted the same image and told me that her grandmother is a Delta Sigma Theta. I said ok. So, here is what I came up with.

Pink Bow Ties image: Amber

I printed the digital image Amber out using my Brother laser printer on Copic X-Press It paper. It is the only paper I color on. Then I cut her using my Brother Scan n Cut.

Pre-made card base using old paper kits.

Sticking with my tagline, Create More, Spend Less, I created a bunch of card bases for cards at a scrapbooking crop. I picked one that can be matched with just about any image in my collection.

Brutus Monroe – The Joy Collection

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment inside of the card.

Ta Da!!

I hope the client loves the card and I hope her grandmother loves it. I’m pretty sure she will. Everyone loves handmade items from the heart. Want to see me color this image? Check it out here.

One more thing, check out this blog post that I was interviewed for. I was so excited when I read it! Thank you again Tara for recognizing me!

For this hop, I’ve created two projects. I created a Halloween mini album tag that is perfect for your Instagram pics. I also created a cute easel card.

Recently, I’ve been trying to use what I have on hand and not run to a local craft store to create. So, everything I’ve used in both projects were found in my craft room.

Fairy Emma

I used Crate Paper Still Board by Maggie Holmes. The card is a 6×6 easel card. I used one doily that I cut in half. The cute trim behind Fairy Emma came from Hobby Lobby and I found it in the clearance section about six months ago. The tag is from Heidi Swapp. I ended up cutting it down just a bit to fit the card front.

Fairy Kittens

For this project, I cut the tags on my Brother Scan n Cut. They were already built into the software. I did not change the size. I used some Halloween paper by Stampin’ Up that I had in stash. Added a few doilies and other embellishments from my stash. I created this small mini album for pictures of my daughter in her Halloween costume. I’ll print the pictures in a 2×2 format later and they will fit perfectly in the spaces.

About Lameka

Hello! I am so happy you’re reading this. That means you’re awesome. I started this blog because recently I was asked to be a Guest Design Team Member for Quick Creations and I figured I needed to start a blog. Yes, I have another blog, but it will not be associated with this one. So, this is a fresh new one and I am going to put my all into this blog to make it the best I can. I also have a YouTube channel, click here, that I will be pouring time into.

A little about me. I’ve been crafting since 2006. I love a little bit of everything. I really love creating cards. I live in Maryland and I’m a country girl from Arkansas. I’ve been around crafts all my life. My mother introduced them to me.

So, I hope that you stick around and see what I am creating and how I am creating it. Thanks for reading!
